UpMyMargins privacy policy
This policy describes UpMyMargins, provided by LXD Sales and Technologies LLC under the Palidax brand. It applies to UpMyMargins only; other Palidax products have their own disclosures. Updated September 30, 2026.
1. Information you choose to provide
Account sign-in can provide an email address, account identifier, sign-in method and optionally a name. Job content can include your Quote Name, descriptions, notes, costs, job assumptions, selected prices, statuses, photos and imported spreadsheet or text data. Optional business settings can include a City/State, service type, crew size, service areas, contact information and equipment details. A full customer name is not required.
2. What we use it for
We use the necessary information to authenticate accounts, save and sync your jobs and settings, calculate and explain recommendations, produce history-based insights, maintain subscription entitlements, manage Business access, attribute shared changes, process requested optional features and operate service and cost protections. Estimates use available information and do not guarantee profitability.
3. Device storage, cloud sync and teams
UpMyMargins stores account-specific quotes and settings on your device so core quoting can continue offline. Enabled cloud sync uses Palidax’s service infrastructure independently of your ChatGPT subscription or iCloud. Infrastructure providers include Supabase for authentication and Cloudflare for backend/database services. Business team members can see shared business jobs according to owner-granted permissions. The owner can remove or change assistant access.
4. Photos and speech
Photos are accessed only when you choose them for a job. On-device text recognition can extract visible text. Voice input requires microphone and speech permissions and uses Apple speech recognition; on-device recognition is preferred when supported, and Apple services may otherwise process audio. Job details and unmatched context are placed in editable facts and Notes. Raw recordings are not automatically retained by the current capture flow. You may type or paste instead and may revoke system permissions in iOS Settings.
5. Optional AI and other processors
Core deterministic quoting does not require AI processing. Optional AI processing is requested only with the app’s disclosure and permission. The app identifies configured processors before transmission. Pricing calculations send minimized structured job facts where possible; quote names, customer contact details and access codes are unnecessary to that calculation. If a requested feature needs a photo, text or history, its consent explains that information. Processor output may be inaccurate and must be reviewed. We do not use job content to train our own AI models. Processor-specific retention and processing terms are identified in the feature disclosure once configured.
6. Purchases
Apple processes subscription payments; UpMyMargins does not receive your full payment-card number. Purchase identifiers, product, expiration and account-bound entitlement information are used to verify access and restore purchases. Subscription state is distinct from app sign-in. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
7. Diagnostics and notifications
Service records may include account identifiers, operation and usage counters, provider availability, request status and cost measurements needed for security and operation. A Contact support / submit bug email draft includes app and OS version and connectivity information. It does not attach customer or job content automatically. You choose what to add and whether to send it. Optional notifications can alert you to processed offline quotes; lock-screen notification text avoids customer names and detailed job content.
8. Your choices and deletion
Optional fields may be left empty and edited later. You may control provider-processing consent, notifications, cloud sync and optional app lock. Account linking keeps sign-in methods attached to the same history. Exported backups contain job content; protect them and share only where you intend. Delete My Account & Data removes UpMyMargins job content and team access, subject to necessary transaction/legal retention and minimal anti-abuse records preserving used free-quote eligibility. Shared authentication may remain for other Palidax apps; UpMyMargins deletion does not delete those apps’ data. Device reset clears local app content while preserving cloud content. Backups or records required by law or for security may not disappear immediately; retained records are limited to those purposes.
9. Security and sharing
Service communications use HTTPS, account-bound authorization and permission checks. Optional app lock uses Apple device authentication. No system can guarantee perfect security; do not enter unnecessary sensitive content. We do not sell job content. Information may be provided to service processors as needed for requested features, to authorized team members, as required by law, or to protect security and legal rights. Processor use is limited to the applicable service purposes.
10. Contact and changes
